Canadian Jewish Book Award Winner

- Converts, Heretics, and Lepers: Maimonides and the Outsider by James A. Diamond is the winner of the Abe and Fay Bergel Award in Scholarship on a Jewish Subject from the 2008 Canadian Jewish Book Awards.
The Canadian Jewish Book Awards celebrate excellence in Canadian writing that reflects Jewish themes and subjects in history, fiction, Yiddish, theatre, and other fields. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the prestigious awards.
