Notre Dame Press 2020 Media Report is Here

During 2020, the COVID-19 crisis impacted how University of Notre Dame Press books were published, printed, reviewed, and sold. The book industry experienced rapid change and unprecedented market response to the pandemic. Nearly all Notre Dame Press Spring 2020 titles and our entire Fall 2020 list were released while the in-house Press staff worked remotely, and while bookstores, libraries, and universities were closed for different durations—some of which have not yet reopened.

We would like to thank our publishing partners: our printers, distributors, booksellers, reviewers, and authors, who worked tirelessly during the previous year, pivoting and changing work processes to ensure that Notre Dame Press books continue to receive critical attention from outlets around the globe. The attached Annual Media Report 2020 contains media hits for our books from January 1, 2020, to December 30, 2020. Through reviews, author interviews, and feature articles, our books extend the reach and reputation of the University of Notre Dame while encouraging intellectual exploration, enriching conversation, and impacting lives.
