The University of Notre Dame Press is excited to welcome Quinn Baumeister as the newest member of the Marketing and Sales Department.
Quinn Baumeister joined the Press team as publicist on May 13th. Quinn most recently served as a Marketing Executive with Casemate Publishers in Philadelphia, where she handled marketing and publicity for their distribution arm and helped launch the Celtic Books imprint. She also holds a Masters in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College.
“I’m excited to take the next step of my career with Notre Dame Press,” Quinn said. “The catalog and history of this press is close to my heart, and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow with such a dedicated and supportive team.”
“Quinn has demonstrated a deep enthusiasm and energy for promoting Notre Dame Press books and authors and is eager to build new bridges with our readers, reviewers, and broader community,” said Michelle Sybert, Assistant Director of Notre Dame Press and Director of Marketing, Sales, and Development. “We’re delighted to have her as a member of our team and look forward to working with her to expand the awareness and impact of our titles.”
The Press is also pleased to congratulate Jacob Kildoo, the Press’s 2023–2024 5+1 postdoctoral fellow, on accepting the role of research program manager, grants and publications, for the University of Notre Dame’s Nanovic Institute for European Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in theology from the University of Notre Dame.
In addition to completing the fulltime postdoctoral fellowship, Kildoo also completed internships with the acquisitions and marketing departments prior to graduation. He gained significant experience with each press team, including the marketing, acquisitions, business, production, and manuscript editorial departments.
