Michael Psellos in Translation
Series Editor(s): Anthony Kaldellis, Ohio State University
This series makes available for the first time complete English translations from the works of Michael Psellos (1018-1076?), a key philosopher of the Byzantine Empire. A philosopher, courtier, historian, and monk, Psellos and his works betray a dazzling engagement with philosophy, theology, history, and science. He expressed these interests in some eleven hundred works, including formal rhetorical texts, history writing, letters, poetry, and texts written for his students.
Open Series: If you are an author with a proposal that seems to fit one of the Open series, please submit it to our Acquisitions Department.
