Examination Copies

The University of Notre Dame Press offers a diverse selection of books that are classroom friendly. Instructors are encouraged to request examination copies by emailing the Sales Department and including:

  • book title
  • course name
  • semester class will be taught
  • expected enrollment
  • instructor’s name
  • address
  • office phone number
  • email address

There is no charge for electronic exam copies; complimentary paperback exam copies are available for a $7 shipping and handling fee. If paperback copies are not available, hardback exam copies are available for $15. There is no need to return the book after examining.

After we receive your request, we will send you a discount code you can use to order your copy on our website. Exam copies are limited to three titles per semester.

Exam copies are limited, so requests will be honored at our discretion.

Outside the U.S.: International shipping is available for an additional fee, for a total shipping and handling charge of $11 for paperback exam copies and $19 for hardback exam copies.

Desk Copies

One free desk copy is provided when 10 or more copies of a text are purchased for course use. Please email desk copy requests and include:

  • book title
  • whether a print or electronic desk copy is preferred
  • course name
  • semester class will be taught
  • quantity ordered
  • bookstore placing order
  • instructor’s name
  • address
  • office phone number
  • email address

Desk copies are limited, so requests will be honored at our discretion.
