Notre Dame Press Publishing Boot Camp!

This free in-person workshop will take place on August 15–18, 2022, in Hesburgh Library. Participants will work with industry-leading professionals to learn about publishing careers and to gain experience in acquisitions, manuscript editorial, production, marketing, and sales. The program includes a capstone project that will be presented at the end of the workshop.

Lunch, snacks, and program materials will be provided.

Graduate students in the humanities, fine arts, and social sciences are invited to apply. Alongside their résumé, applicants should send a one-page, single-spaced cover letter stating their interest in publishing and future career goals to Michelle Sybert (msybert@nd.edu) no later than April 1, 2022. Priority will be given to students interested in pursuing careers in publishing after graduation and to those preparing their dissertations for publication as monographs.
