This interactive map is a companion resource to The Red Wheel, Nobel Laureate Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s multivolume epic narrative of the events leading up to the Russian Revolution in 1917.
With this app, you will be able to view key locations from the books, and see both historical images and modern photos of those locations. You can also toggle between English and Russian, and between the historical 1917 Petrograd map and modern-day St. Petersburg.
